Calling all interested mason bee enthusiasts!

We at Crown Bees have outgrown our humble home and are in the process of relocating to a larger commercial space that will house our office and our warehouse.  It is our hope that this move will allow us to not only expand our operations but to better serve our customers.   We would like to extend an opportunity for you to join us on Saturday, November 16, 2013 between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, for an informal open house and harvest party at our new headquarters in Woodinville, Washington.

Late September - early October - Fall

We invite you to:

  • Come meet and talk with mason bee experts.
  • Learn how easy it is to raise this gentle bee and the benefits that can be derived from having them in your yard, garden or orchard.
  • Bring your bee filled tubes, reeds and wood trays.  Explore what’s in your bee’s nesting material.

mason bee cocoons harvested

Never harvested your own bees before?

We’ll show you how by helping you to open your material, clean your wood trays,  inspect, clean, dry and weigh your cocoons and prepare them for their winter hibernation.

Are you an old pro?

Come share your experience with other folks who may not be seasoned veterans.

Mason bees may not be particularly social critters, but that doesn’t mean we can’t come together to share knowledge, stories and laughter!

We would be pleased to have you join us either to harvest or simply to ask a few questions!  Help us spread the buzz about mason bees by inviting a friend or neighbor.
