This unique Guatemalan raindrop-shaped pine mason bee house is designed and carefully handcrafted by a team of Ixil carpenters near Nebaj, Guatemala.
Key features include:
- A fluid and natural-shaped design holds about 210 straws or 180 reeds.
- The bottom floor is slanted to drain excess penetrating rain.
- The wood is sealed with a natural colored low VOC finish to waterproof the wood for longer wear. It is easily painted to match your house!
- Easy mounting instructions are included. Keyhole slots in back assist you with easy installation and removal.
- 4" overhang to help prevent straws/reeds from getting wet in most rains.
