Upgrade your spring or summer pollination efforts with our DIY Upgrade Kits! Simply add your choice of natural reeds or reusable wood trays, along with Mason or Leafcutter bee cocoons, to your bee house. Enjoy savings compared to purchasing individual items separately.

Key Features:

Spring Mason Bees: Super pollinators of apples, cherries, plums, blueberries, and strawberries, these gentle solitary bees prefer 8mm sized nesting materials and use clay-rich mud to build their protective nest chamber walls.

Summer Leafcutter Bees: Excellent pollinators of tomatoes, peppers, squash, melons, and peas, these gentle solitary bees prefer 6mm sized cavities and use soft, pliable leaves like those of rose, hosta, lilac, pea, bean, and strawberry to build their protective leafy cocoons.

What's Included:

Our DIY Upgrade Kits come with all nesting materials, accessories, and bees, excluding the house. Choose from spring or summer kits, including natural reeds or reusable wood trays. Complete Kits ship year-round, with nesting materials, booklet, and accessories shipping at the time of order. Bee cocoons will ship in season on the Monday bee ship date you select.

Compatibility:

Our Garden Upgrade Kits fit inside all our bee houses and DIY bee houses. Ensure your DIY bee house is at least 6" deep and 5.75" wide for wood trays. Natural reeds will fit in any DIY house at least 6" deep.

Note:

The nesting materials included in our Complete Kits will purposely not fill the house, which allows room for your creativity. Some choose to fill the gap with colorful artistic materials, while others purchase additional nesting materials. The choice is yours!
